Veteran Application Checklist

1. Are you entering as a freshman or a 转移?
   Do you have less than 12 college credit hours? That makes you a freshman.
   Do you have 12 or more college credit hours from an accredited college or university? That makes you a 转移.
2. What deadline will you choose?
   We offer several deadlines if you are entering as a 一年级 学生:
   提早行动 - 11月15日 - notification will be late-February
   常规的决定 - 1月15日 - Notification will be Mid-March (on a space-available basis)
   Remember, if you apply for Early Decision, 它是有约束力的. This means if we offer you admission, you are expected to accept the offer and drop all applications to other schools. Most students are not ready to make this commitment and will apply 提早行动.
   If you are entering as a 转移 student, your deadlines are:
   夏季/秋季 - 3月1日
   春天 (如有)- 10月1日
3. Build your Coalition/CommonApp profile.
   You can do this anytime, even before the application opens. This personal information will be a good start toward completing your application.
4. Complete the online application.
   The $60 application fee will be automatically waived for 退伍军人 who apply.
5. Complete the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR).
   A link will be sent to you after you submit your application for admission. To learn more about the SRAR, 访问 our apply webpage at salamzone.com/admissions/undergraduate/apply.
